CommentsSo far I'd say the lack of bluetooth integration is the only thing keeping me from giving this car a 10.I hope there is an automatic in 08. Just too much engine inertia/torgue to shift smoothly in traffic, with passengers. Use 1 3 5 gears most of the time except when haveing fun on the mountain roadsctsv is not a daily driver. It is great that the whole family can get in and go for a drive(as opposed to a corvette) My kids really love this car as do I.The differential is the ONLY thing keeping the satisfaction from being a 10 and is also the reason for the "Maybe" and why I may sell my car if they dont fix it within a year. Honestly, it is the cars achilles heal and is so loud (even after a new one) that it is making me want to sell it. The performance is top notch and it is very comfortable.GM's first try at a Halo car targeting Euro Uber Sedan's. 95% of the way there with this car. Very good first effort. So as not to alienate current owners, and diminish the 'halo' affect of this car, GM should move decicively to fix the remaining 5%. This includes, substandard rear end geometry and differential, driveline 'clunk', sloppy shifter and transmission engagement issues (R, 1st/2nd). If GM were to step and and really fix these issues, and not just bean-counter bandaids, Euro only buyers, would do a double take when purchasing their next car, and be more willing to consider the 'upstart' Cadillac brand. The return on investment for GM should be obvious. The CTS-V is a very small production run (<10K units), and would not cost much to rectify, based on the image enhancement it would afford.bye bye vetteMy second CTSV and I'll buy another when the GEN II one comes out.Listed "Service Experience" at 10, although it hasn't been in service yet. Will take it to Lindsay Cadillac in VA, so I don't anticipate any problems. My biggest beef with this car is the audio system. I've heard Chevy Cavaliers with better sounding stereos than my V.I had a bad battery, The dealership came to my home and replaced it. No problems since. Not perfect, but I love it, and I get compliments all the time!I love this car! I just wish I could power shift 3rd gear and could do burnouts.Wish the tranny gears were closer spaced, otherwise it's about perfect.I just traded my 2006 in on a 2007 cts-v, absolutly love the car, too many cry babies out there!Love/Hate relationship. 3.5 years and it keeps gettin' better. The best all-around performance sedan built in the U.S... in it's price range best in the world. Love the car.....diff sucks. Needs aftermarket clutch also.NOTCHY SHIFTING, BAD WHEEL HOP, AND REAR END CLUNK MAKE THIS CAR SEEM LIKE DRIVING AN OLD BEAT-UP PICKUP TRUCK INSTEAD OF A BMW-BEATER !!This car has been a blast to own and play with. For me, it's more of a toy than transportation. I have taken it to road courses and surprised the shit out of a lot of people. Of course, the maggie makes it more than just a CTS-V - it's a stealth rocket on wheelsTransmission is crap and Cadillac refuses to take responsibility for it-say that nobody else has had any problems with the syncronizers crapping out. Mine lost sinc to reverse, second, and fourth already. Next time I send it to a speed shop for beefing up.great car for the money!Love my Corsa exhaust!!Car is for sale, but if I don't get what i'd like i will keep it for a while. Great car, I just don't get to use it much.Approximately 1 in 25 engine starts the XM radio display isn't available. Anyone else have this problem? It doesn't happen often enough to take to the dealer.paint coming off nav buttons + doesnt shift into third gear well
