in order to take out the left one you turn the wheel ALL the way to the left and pull the 3 push pins holding the plastic wheel well guard. you can then pull part of the wheel well guard to the side stick your hand in and tada you feel the wires/back of sidemarker. grab hold of the back of sidemarker and push the TOP of the sidemarker from the back out and then pull it up and out.
turn the light itself to the side until it pops right out and you will have your sidemarker unnattatched and in your hand ready to be devirginized. -repeat for other side.*note: turn the wheel away from the side you are trying to get the sidemarker out from. saves you time and makes pulling the wheel out un-necessary
preheat oven to about 200 degrees and put the sidemarkers in for about 5 - 10 mins ***make sure you dont over heat them or you might end up warping them***.
pull side marker out and quickly pry the amber cover with a flat head screw driver from the grey plastic backing. (wear thin mitts so you dont burn yourself or have to pause to blow at your palms or have to worry about stapping the shit out of your hand like i did). be quick on this step because they cool off very fast.
sand down the amber residue/glue left on the edges of the grey plastic housing
you can use spray paint to match the plastic backing to the color of your car.
apply adhesive on edges of the clear sidemarker covers.
stick on sidemarker covers and clamp together (BE VERY CAREFUL THEY CRACK WITH TOO MUCH PRESSURE!!)
apply adhesive around the edges to seal any little holes that might allow water to get in. (a good way of checking is to blow through the hole where the light is inserted and feel around for any escaping air. epoxy is great for this step since it is thick)
sand down any bumps created by the adhesive so you get a nice tight fit.
there. you should be all set. just pop the light back in and reinstall the sidemarker to the car. put the bottom tab of the sidemarker through the bumper then push the top of the sidemarker into the bumper (push around the edges so you dont run the risk of getting any cracks on the lens like i did . it is a tight fit you want to make sure that shit doesnt come out)
