Will the STS-V wheels fit on the CTS-V?

Short answer: Stock= NO
with small spacer/Longer stud= Do-able

We swapped a set off of a STS-V to my CTS-V. Everything appears to be OK in the back but the front hits the steering knuckle. It might work with a small spacer, I'm not sure cause we didn't have one here to try. We could barely turn the wheel once we had the lug nut tightened. I will say it's very close; a small spacer and a little longer lug stud and I think it would be "do-able"

Wheel specs

  • CTS-V 18 x 8.5 x 42
  • STS-V Front 18 x 8.5 x 51
  • STS-V Rear 19 x 9.5 x 56

Here are some pics (click to enlarge)... I couldn't get a whole car shot because I didn't want to try and move it with the rim/tire rubbing on the knuckle.
