Can I use the Onstar with my normal cell phone?
Short answer: Not Yet
UPDATE
You can use your verizon wireless minutes using a new combined rate plan with onstar. THis is only available on 05 or digital reday cars (I think the 04 is digital ready, but does not have all of the right parts to be fully digital compliant) See

Yet another shortcoming on GM's Part. If you want to use onstar, you must pay for the "personal calling" minutes.
HOWEVER, there is a company that makes a device for a SAAB that allows you to use the existing onstar Microphone and the sound comes through the radio (essentially making a speakerphone for your personal cell phone). This adapter allows you to keep your onstar functionality. BAD NEWS, they dont make one for the CTS yet.
