Codenamed GMX322, the 2008 CTS will be slightly larger than the current model and will feature more taut, European styling. Some styling aspects have been taken from the 2004 Cadillac SIXTEEN concept, such as the Egg-Crate Over Mesh grille and the vertically stacked headlamps. Although insiders doubt that the wheels and foglamps are production units, they are extremely sure that the grille and headlamps and the rest of the body are production units, or extremely close to production. In regards to the interior, insiders tell GMI that the design will be more organic and natural, a few miles away from the computer-inspired dash of the current CTS. There will be added room in the ****************pit and materials will continue to improve. To add some spice to the lineup, the CTS-V model will feature a 500HP LS7 V8 powering the rear wheels. Production should start one year after the CTS is launched. Car and Driver renderingthanks nintey eight regency, Gminsidenews.com, mgescuro, etc |
